TURMERIC is much more than just curcumin. In its whole form, turmeric provides several nutrients that our bodies can use to nourish and balance their own cells in the event of inflammation or oxidation. When we ferment our organic turmeric for a month, we use our various strains of microorganisms from a kefir-kombucha culture, transforming the synergistic nutrients into even more powerful compounds.
One of the compounds created by fermentation is tetrahydrocurcumin. It's been nicknamed the "white gold" of turmeric. More tetrahydrocurcumin in our fermented TURMERIC compared to unfermented turmeric. Research shows that this highly active compound has been shown to have complementary effects to other curcumins in whole turmeric, especially for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Our unique fermentation allows the activated whole turmeric to have greater bioavailability, thus becoming more water-soluble and having a higher nutrient density. No need for black pepper or nanoparticles. After all, it's a whole, fermented food. Nothing needs to be added.
