Thyroid Plus is formulated with essential minerals, vitamins, and botanicals to support an underactive or sluggish thyroid. It contains iodine, a key component of T4 and T3, selenium, a cofactor in the conversion of T4 to the more potent T3, plus manganese, copper, and zinc. In addition, it contains essential vitamins such as vitamin A, necessary for the activation of thyroid hormone receptors, L-tyrosine, and botanicals with soothing properties such as ashwagandha and bacopa.
Vitamin A is recognized for its benefits for bones, eyes, teeth, and the immune system. It is also essential for the activation of thyroid hormone receptors and plays an important role in regulating the metabolism of these hormones.
Traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine, Bacopa monnieri is a perennial plant found in wetlands in India, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and North and South America. It acts as an adaptogen, helping the body manage stress. Bacopa is known to support an underactive thyroid by helping to produce higher concentrations of T4.
Adults (19 years and older): Take 1 capsule 3 times daily with meals. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products. Make sure to drink enough water before, during, and after exercise. To improve physical performance: use for at least 8 weeks to see beneficial effects.
