Taraxacum is a constitutional formula specifically designed to Aid a healthy liver, gallbladder, biliary tract, and portal vein system. It addresses functional disorders of the liver, gallbladder, and bile ducts, improves intestinal peristalsis, and relieves venous congestion.
It is used to promote bile flow, relieve biliary and intestinal colic (IBS), reduce congestion and pain of the liver and portal vein, alleviate migraine symptoms when associated with a bilious attack, decrease inflammation of the liver and biliary system, reduce inflammation and swelling of veins including varicose veins, and has laxative properties to relieve constipation. The ingredients in Taraxacum have been shown to reduce the formation of gallstones and relieve skin symptoms associated with liver and gallbladder congestion.
