SeroPlus contains 5-HTP to support healthy mood balance by providing essential building blocks for serotonin. By helping to form serotonin, 5-HTP balances serotonin activity in the brain, promoting emotional well-being. Another key element of each formulation in this series is the inclusion of cofactors such as vitamin B6, zinc, and Metafolin® L-5-MTHF. L-5-MTHF is a form of folate that easily crosses the blood-brain barrier. These nutrients are often deficient due to medications, poor diets, and exposure to toxic environments, compromising the ability to efficiently metabolize nutrients. Along with zinc, vitamin B6 is a cofactor in amino acid metabolism, including the metabolism of 5-HTP to serotonin.
Adults: Take one capsule three times daily with food a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products. Use for at least one week to see beneficial effects. Consult a health care professional for use beyond three months.
