The Bach Flower Remedies Roch Rose is made from an aqueous extract of Helianthemum nummularium. Behind this scientific name lies a pretty perennial plant from warm regions: the common rock rose, also known as the yellow rock rose, round-leaved rock rose, or moneywort. Its elongated, very narrow leaves grow opposite each other on the stem. Hairy, they are white underneath and bright green above.
The yellow rockrose has the particularity of having very delicate flowers: they only bloom in full sun and rarely last more than a day. They are so fragile that a light touch is enough for their petals to fall off... This semi-trailing plant is, however, much stronger than it appears, as it manages to flower in difficult conditions, to say the least. It can thrive in dry, stony soil, fully exposed to the sun's blazing rays. It is therefore not uncommon to see its beautiful, bright yellow, five-petaled flowers blooming in the heart of gravel pits, from June to July. Given its capabilities, the yellow rockrose is also often used to create rockeries in gardens and to brighten up low walls.
Adults: 2 drops in a glass of water or on the tongue 4 times a day.
Non-medicinal ingredients: Grape alcohol 27% v/v, aqueous solution of Helianthemum nummularium flowers (dilution 1/500).
