This is a patented strain with a remarkably longer and more stable shelf life than other probiotic supplements, and a lower loss rate than other Bifidobacterium strains exposed to multiple different temperatures.Isolated from healthy human digestive tracts, Bifidobacterium has long been recognized as a beneficial genus, constituting over 90% of the total gastrointestinal bacteria in breastfed infants. It has been shown to have multiple immunomodulatory effects, such as increasing secretory IgA production and NK cell and neutrophil activity, as well as balancing Th1 and Th2 immune activity. It has also been shown to improve mucosal barrier function in the colon, in part by upregulating tight junction molecules. Adults: 1 to 2 capsules, 2 to 3 times daily, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Take at least 2 to 3 hours before or after taking antibiotics.
