Probiotic 50B provides 50 billion CFU per capsule of the beneficial bacteria Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus gasseri, Bifidobacterium longum subsp. longum, Bifidobacterium bifidum, and Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis. This formula is available in acid-resistant capsules with targeted pH release for maximum probiotic viability. These capsules are designed to withstand acidic environments (such as the stomach) and dissolve in more alkaline environments (such as the small and large intestines). This technology helps protect organisms from stomach acid and promotes the maximum amount of revivable bacteria through the digestive tract. This blend of lactobacilli and bifidobacteria is designed to promote a healthy gut ecology to support gastrointestinal health. Probiotics have been shown to maintain gastrointestinal barrier health, in part by supporting intestinal epithelial integrity. Several trials have also shown that supplementing with a variety of probiotics helps maintain gut flora and promotes gastrointestinal comfort.
Adults: Take 2 capsules daily or as directed by a healthcare professional. Take at least 2 to 3 hours before or after taking antibiotics.
