Nutritional Support for Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
PreNatal Nutrients is a hypoallergenic and highly bioavailable multi-vitamin and mineral formula designed specifically for pregnant and breastfeeding women. PreNatal Nutrients provides nutrients needed for maternal and fetal health, such as selenium, zinc, biotin, niacin, thiamine, and riboflavin, at doses recommended by Health Canada for pregnant and breastfeeding women. In addition, PreNatal Nutrients provides 1 mg of folate (as folic acid and Metafolin® 5-MTHF, the natural, universally metabolized form of folate) for healthy fetal brain and spinal cord development, helping to reduce the risk of neural tube defects when taken daily at least three months before and during early pregnancy. It is also enriched with extra vitamins D and K to promote bone health, chromium to support healthy glucose metabolism, and iron to help prevent iron-deficiency anemia and associated fatigue. It also contains beta-carotene (provitamin A) to help maintain skin and immune function.
Adults: Take two capsules daily with a meal, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
