Nitric Oxide Support is an arginine-based formulation designed to support moderate improvement in exercise capacity in people with stable cardiovascular disease. Arginine, a precursor of nitric oxide, supports healthy circulation by promoting endothelial function, blood vessel tone, and healthy platelet function, as shown in multiple randomized crossover trials. Arginine can promote oxygen delivery to working muscles, protect muscles from oxidation, and moderate lactate dehydrogenase activity during intense exercise. Arginine may also support lean muscle mass and repair after exercise to promote moderate improvements in exercise capacity in individuals with stable cardiovascular disease. Arginine provides the Krebs cycle intermediates alpha-ketoglutarate and malate for improved energy production. L-citrulline is a non-essential amino acid that is converted to arginine, enhancing nitric oxide production. Vitamin C is also included in this formula to provide antioxidant protection.
Adults: Take 3 to 4 spoonfuls daily, mixed with water, 20 minutes before physical training or as directed by a healthcare professional.
