Melatonin Spray delivers melatonin to regulate the body's sleep-wake cycle. Difficulty falling and staying asleep are two major symptoms of sleep dissatisfaction in Canada, affecting 20% of Canadians. Research has shown that melatonin supplements significantly decrease the time required to fall asleep, increase total sleep time, and improve sleep quality compared to placebo treatments. Taking melatonin supplements before bed may improve sleep quality and duration in shift workers, who often experience drowsiness and may make judgment errors at work, thereby decreasing the quality of their work. Consuming melatonin at local sleep times may also advance the sleep-wake cycle to reduce fatigue associated with jet lag.
