Adults: Spray 4 to 22 times daily under the tongue (4, 11, and 22 sprays provide approximately 1.5, 5, and 10 mg of melatonin, respectively) or as directed by your healthcare professional. Sensitivity to melatonin varies from person to person. Take once daily, at or before bedtime. For jet lag: Take once daily at bedtime after dark, during travel, and at your destination until you adjust to the new daily routine for short-term occasional use. For sleep restriction or changes in sleep schedule, delayed sleep phase changes, and to restore the sleep-wake cycle: Consult a healthcare professional for use beyond 4 weeks or if symptoms persist for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia).
