Liquid Iron is a convenient, highly available liquid iron formula that contributes to the formation of red blood cells and promotes their proper function. Iron is an important component of hemoglobin in red blood cells and myoglobin in muscle cells, where it is needed to transport oxygen and carbon dioxide. Pure Encapsulations Liquid Iron contains SunActive® Fe, a highly bioavailable, micronized, water-soluble form of iron. Research indicates that the bioavailability of SunActive® Fe iron pyrophosphate is similar to that of ferrous sulfate. In a 16-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study in 122 women, supplementation supported healthy iron status, including hemoglobin, ferritin, and transferrin saturation. Adults: Take 1 teaspoon 1 to 2 times daily with food. Wait at least two hours before or after taking other medications.

Nonmedicinal Ingredients: Purified water, natural vegetable glycerin, apple juice concentrate, maltodextrin, natural pomegranate flavor and other natural flavors, fruit extract (cranberry), xanthan gum, fruit extract (blueberry), potassium sorbate, rapeseed lecithin.
