Intensive Allergen-Free Probiotic Therapy (Science-Based) Probiotics are beneficial bacteria normally found in a healthy gastrointestinal system. In cases of digestive issues—which can range from bloating and indigestion to conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and inflammatory bowel disease—probiotics can often help reduce or eliminate symptoms by restoring a healthy balance. Different strains of bacteria perform several functions in the intestinal tract, including inhibiting pathogenic bacteria, improving digestion, reducing inflammation, and boosting gastrointestinal immunity by increasing IgA and mucin secretion. A higher concentration of probiotics is particularly beneficial in helping to restore balance to the intestinal tract after taking an antibiotic, in cases such as irritable bowel syndrome, or during periods of gastrointestinal distress.

Adults, adolescents, and children ≥ 6 years: Take 1 to 2 capsules daily with water or juice, or as directed by your healthcare professional. If you are taking antibiotics, take this product at least 2 to 3 hours before or after.
