HMF® UTI is a combination of research-based probiotics and PACRAN®, a clinically studied cranberry extract that helps prevent recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women. Approximately 10 to 20% of women experience one or more incidents of urinary discomfort or urinary tract infection each year, with a recurrence rate of approximately 20%. Cranberries are rich in polyphenolic antioxidant compounds such as proanthocyanidins, which reduce the adhesiveness of E. coli bacteria to the uroepithelial cells lining the bladder. Regular supplementation with PACRAN® has been shown to reduce the presence of E. coli and the incidence of UTIs in women with a history of recurrent infections. HMF® UTI also contains five patented probiotic strains that have demonstrated superior adherence to the intestinal wall and natural resistance to pH and bile acid. This probiotic blend includes L. gasseri, one of the predominant vaginal Lactobacillus species.
Adults: Take 2 capsules daily, at least 2 to 3 hours before or after taking antibiotics, or as directed by your healthcare professional. Use for at least 4 weeks to see beneficial effects.
