HMF Intensive Powder provides four strains of patented human-source probiotics that support intestinal health in children and adults. Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria are the most commonly used probiotics. They are safe, effectively colonize the intestines, and reduce the entry of intestinal bacteria into the bloodstream. Probiotics strengthen the epithelial barrier, allowing the absorption of selected compounds and promoting the excretion of harmful substances. Probiotics control intestinal permeability by ensuring the integrity of tight junctions and prevent pathogen adhesion to cells by increasing the release of mucins on intestinal surfaces.
