Healthy Bones MCHA contains microcrystalline hydroxyapatite, a natural compound that structures the matrix of our bones and teeth, giving them their rigidity. This compound, naturally rich in calcium and phosphorus, has superior bioavailability and absorption for optimal bone-strengthening capacity.
Calcium has long been associated with bone health, but phosphorus is just as important. In fact, high-dose calcium supplementation, in the form of calcium carbonate or citrate, can make dietary phosphorus unavailable for absorption. An unbalanced intake of calcium and phosphorus is associated with the development of osteoporosis.
