Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve pain and/or inflammation in muscles and joints (such as sprains, bruises, and/or joint pain).Our Arnica Oil is a topical product used to soothe sore muscles and inflammation due to sprains, bruises, and wounds.Arnica has long been considered a premier herb in Western herbal medicine.Traditionally used to soothe inflammation and muscle pain due to sprains, bruises, and injuries.It is also traditionally used to treat rheumatism affecting muscles and joints.Contains sesquiterpene lactones (helanalin) and dihydrohelananin, which help reduce the expression of inflammatory cytokines, including interleukin 1 (IL-1) and TNF-α, which inflamed tissues produce in excess.Reduces pain and swelling associated with varicose veins.
Adults: Apply a thin, even layer to the affected area 3 to 4 times daily. Rub in and/or into the skin until the preparation disappears. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to wounds or damaged skin. Do not cover with a bandage. Do not apply with an external heat source, such as an electric heating pad; this may result in excessive irritation or skin burns. Breastfeeding women should not apply on or near the nipples.
