Curcumin, extracted from turmeric, is one of the most widely used Ayurvedic remedies for soothing joint inflammation. This is due to the antioxidant properties of curcuminoids, the active compounds in turmeric. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals in the body, which are often the cause of inflammation.
However, it is difficult to access the benefits of curcuminoids in curcumin extracts. This is because these extracts are absorbed in a fat-soluble manner and degrade easily at the body's pH.
Curcumin Unlocked overcomes these difficulties thanks to an exclusive water-dispersible freeze-dried colloidal suspension technology, allowing for aqueous absorption and improved bioavailability. Curcumin Unlocked uses 300 mg of TurmiPure®, a turmeric extract standardized for a high concentration of the three curcuminoids: curcumin, demethoxycurcumin, and bisdemethoxycurcumin.
