Calcium microcrystalline hydroxyapatite is a whole bone extract that contains calcium and phosphorus. Calcium and phosphorus contribute to the development and maintenance of bones and teeth.
In randomized controlled clinical trials, calcium microcrystalline hydroxyapatite supplementation has been shown to increase bone rebuilding while decreasing the amount of bone loss. Calcium microcrystalline hydroxyapatite has less effect on serum calcium levels than other forms of calcium supplements.
Adults: Take 2 tablets daily with food, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
