In a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial, supplementation with L. salivarius LS01 (2 billion CFU per day) in adults with moderate to severe eczema for 16 weeks resulted in a 52% reduction in symptom severity and a 55% improvement in quality of life, which persisted for 4 weeks after the end of the study. In another study in children with atopic dermatitis, 2 billion CFU of L. salivarius per day for eight weeks, followed by 1 billion CFU per day for eight weeks, significantly reduced symptom severity compared to baseline.
Adults and children 1 year and older: Take one sachet daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional. Children 1 to 5 years: Dissolve the dose in a small amount of water before administration. Children over 5 years: Dissolve directly in the mouth or add to water, milk, or yogurt. Take at least 2 to 3 hours before or after taking antibiotics.
