Colitis, Crohn's disease Ulcerative colitis is a chronic inflammation of the intestinal mucosal lining, particularly that of the colon. Severe diarrhea, frequent bleeding and blood in the stool, abdominal pain, tenesmus, as well as the development of ulcers, characterize this disease.
Adults and children (12 years and older): 4 tablets; children (6-11 years): 2 tablets; children (1-5 years): 1 tablet. All ages: take 4 times daily or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
For children 5 years and older, dissolve the tablet in water.
