Description
Balanced Immune is designed to support immune balance and tissue health, in part by targeting the NLRP and NF-κB pathways to modulate cytokine production. NLRPs (NOD-like receptor proteins) act as intracellular sensors for oxidative and environmental stressors. Research suggests that vitamin D supports a healthy cellular response, in part by modulating this pathway. This formula provides cellular protection against oxidative stress by promoting the transcription pathways of many genes and enzymes. Resveratrol supports the activity of Nrf2, a transcription factor that supports cellular function by promoting protection against oxidative stress. The curcumin in this formula is derived from the patented Meriva® curcumin-phosphatidylcholine complex, which has been clinically studied and offers improved efficacy in terms of uptake and resistance to degradation in the digestive tract. Pharmacokinetic data suggest a 20-fold increase in uptake over standard curcumin. Balanced Immune also contains broccoli, primarily known for the bioactive component sulforaphane, and SIRTMAX black galangal extract®, which was studied in a double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover study.
Dosage
Adults: Take 1 capsule daily with a meal, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 12 weeks.
