Aspen - Tremble

You feel nervous and nervous, you have intuitions. The Bach flower remedy Aspen is composed of aqueous extracts of Populus tremula and Brandy. Behind this scientific name lies a relatively common tree in Europe, but also in North America and North Asia: the aspen. This tree, belonging to the large Salicaceae family, particularly thrives in sun-drenched environments. This is why it is more likely to be found in plains and clearings than in undergrowth. Its natural resistance even allows it to grow at medium altitudes. Botanically, the aspen, sometimes nicknamed "tremou" or "tremolin," reaches a height of between 20 and 30 meters. Its trunk and branches are covered with smooth bark, on which lenticels form here and there, forming diamond-shaped lenticels. It is this bark that has medicinal properties that have been used for centuries. Its leaves are characterized by their rounded, serrated shapes. In autumn, they take on a particularly sublime golden color. It is to these leaves that the tree owes its particular name, as they tremble at the slightest breath of air, as if calling for comfort. The tree's flowers, for their part, are grouped in catkins that develop in spring.
