Ahiflower® SAP is a natural, non-GMO, vegan, and sustainable source of PUFAs. Preclinical and clinical studies conducted with Ahiflower® have demonstrated its ability to increase the accumulation of EPA and DHA in tissues. Ahiflower® SAP is unique because it provides large amounts of stearidonic acid (SDA), a precursor to EPA and DHA, without the need for ALA and the enzymes needed to convert ALA to EPA. Furthermore, Ahiflower® SAP is a rich source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), known to reduce inflammation.
