UROLITHIN A
Urolithin A (UA) is a metabolite of ellagitannins derived from gut microbiomes. Ellagitannins are polyphenolic compounds naturally present in plant foods such as pomegranate, almonds, and walnuts. UA is being studied for its role in cellular health through its effects on mitochondria.
When ellagitannin-rich foods are ingested, these compounds are metabolized into UA by the microflora of the large intestine. The conversion of natural polyphenols into UA depends on certain microbiomes. Approximately 40% of humans do not have a microbiome capable of producing UA. Therefore, direct UA supplementation is being studied in many populations, including sedentary adults.
RESVERATROL
Resveratrol is a plant compound known as a polyphenol and naturally found in grapes, dark chocolate, various berries, and some herbs. In its trans-active form, resveratrol is a rich source of antioxidants that help combat the harmful effects of medications, pollution, UV rays, and dietary choices on cellular health.
SPERMIDINE
Many healthy diets have been associated with increased consumption of compounds called polyamines, such as spermidine. These compounds have been identified as integral parts of cellular and genetic metabolism.
NMN
Finally, NMN is a vitamin B derivative that can increase the production of an important cellular currency called NAD+.
The advantage of AOR:
AOR provides a high dose of Urolithin A, in a synergistic formula of well-studied bioactive compounds for cellular health.
Adults: Take one capsule three times daily with or without food, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
